This artwork visualizes the psychological state of children as they grow into adulthood.

This work depicts the complex inner world of late teens and the unspoken thoughts and feelings of emerging independence.

In "A Boy with a Thousand Messages" a teenager stands on a protective rock, held between childhood safety and the ocean's vast, unclaimed future.

He continues to send questions and messages to himself as he moves towards independence. Hope, doubt, anxiety, memories and future not yet formed gather around him like invisible companions.
